Commission A Portrait
To commission a portrait of your own pet I will need some photos. The better your photo is the better your painting will come out. I cannot stress this enough. I really like to be able to see their eyes, I feel I can really capture their personality. If you'll be taking a new picture of your pet try getting it from their level, get right down on the floor and use words that get them to pay attention to you. Are you hungry? always works on my dogs. Shoot away too, sometimes as I'm taking pictures with my digital camera I think, yup thats the one, it looks good on that little screen. Then I bring it up on the computer and not so good. So the more the better.

Where & How to send your photo
You can send your pictures by email or post office. If your sending a bunch, which would be ideal, mark your favorite. If you are sending a picture of a deceased animal and your picture isn't perfect don't worry I can usually make them work. I ask that you give it 4 to 6 weeks for turn around.

Pricing & Payment
I start my portraits at 8x10 for $160. They come with a black or cream matte that will fit in a standard size frame. You can also have your painting made into note cards for an additional price.

I require half to start, then when I complete your picture I will email it to you for your approval. Checks or money orders only. Upon balance received I will deliver or ship it to you. If you would like something larger please email me for pricing.
